Class 1A Truck Driver – Northern Mine Runs

Saskatoon, Saskatchewan | Ghost Transportation Services is looking for an experienced Class 1A Truck Driver for regular runs from Saskatoon to mine sites in northern Saskatchewan.
This position is suited to a dependable, safety-focused driver who is comfortable with remote locations, winter driving and variable schedules.

Responsibilities

• Haul freight between Saskatoon and northern mine sites.
• Complete pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain accurate electronic logs and trip documentation.
• Follow dispatch instructions, mine-site procedures and safety requirements.
• Secure freight properly and report delays or equipment concerns.
• Keep the assigned truck clean and in good operating condition.

Requirements

• Valid Saskatchewan Class 1A driver’s licence.
• Minimum two years of Class 1 driving experience preferred.
• Clean or acceptable commercial driver’s abstract.
• Strong winter and highway driving skills.
• Northern Saskatchewan or mine-site experience is an asset.
• Flat deck experience required.
• Super B experience is an asset.
• Ability to use an electronic logging device.
• Willingness to work variable hours and be away from home when required.
• Ability to meet drug and alcohol testing requirements.
